It's that time of year again in Denton. It's getting cold and the holidays are drawing near. Just like the season, Denton's Holiday Lighting Festival is here. The square will have tons of activities, live music, and beautiful Christmas lights to get some sweet bokehlicious shots. Don't forget to try out the wassail that will be available throughout locations on the square and snap some shots of your friends trying the different concoctions.
Denton Camera Club - Grapevine Xmas Lights Photo Walk - 12/05/15
This little adventure might take you out of Denton a little, but you'll be venturing out with other local photographers. Meet up with the pros from Ft. Worth camera and learn a thing or two about taking photos during the holidays. Be sure to check out Denton Camera Clubs Facebook group to connect with other local photographers and join other events.
Dallas Observer Music Awards Showcase - 12/05/15
If you live in Denton, chances are you enjoy live music. The Dallas Observer has put together basically a mini-festival to highlight their Music Awards 2015 nominees. Spanning multiple venues throughout the night, you can hop around till your little heart's content. Be sure to check out the representation Denton has this year, Claire Morales, Fab Deuce, Pearl Earl, The BoomBachs, and many others. You won't be disappointed.
